Level 3 Accredited Certified EFT Practitioner

You will have your Level 3  Attendance Course certificate and want to persue Level 3 Foundational Skills towards professional Accredited Practitioner status. Level 1 & 2 & 3 Courses are both mandatory prerequisites to this.

Here is how you follow through with our next studies towards certification.

To receive accreditation as an EFT International Advanced Certified Practitioner, students need to successfully complete the following activities within 12 months of the completion of their EFT Level 3 course.

The following requirements are deemed necessary by EFT International (EFTi).

  1. An Advanced Practitioner-Candidate must be an EFTi member to access the L3 exam.
  2. Pass an on-line Multiple Choice exam which can only be accessed from the EFT International website. The answers to the exam could include material covered during your Level 1, 2  & 3training courses and may be found within the training manuals you had provided, so  a great idea to thoroughly study this beforehand. Students are given 3 attempts to achieve the 80% pass mark and results are sent directly to the student. The EFTi will also have access to the results for audit purposes. There is a small administration fee for the exam which is paid at the time that the exam is taken.
  3. Complete 50 Practice Sessions: To become certified, students must complete a minimum of 50 EFT practice sessions of 45 minutes or longer, with at least 20 different individuals. To ensure that as certified practitioners you have actual working experience and not just classroom knowledge of EFT, you will have to keep a log of your practice sessions with detail. NB: Example Log available to download here and record to forward to Marie Holliday. (you can stage this for ease and return in a few sessions instead of all at once) Additionally EFTi has a Swap Session Community on their website for ease of swapping sessions.
  4. Submit Four Case Studies: Submit to your trainer a minimum of four written case studies and a minimum of one hour sessions. One of these studies should be self-work. The studies should demonstrate knowledge and application of skills gained during Level 3 (and Level 1 & 2 training ) and will be: 3 x Client Case Studies (on separate individuals) and 1 Personal Case Study. Case studies must demonstrate competent, professional, and individualised application of foundational EFT skills acquired during EFT Level 3 training and post-training practice and experience. *See the comprehensive Example Case Study Guidance Manual for further details here. Please do not return case studies unless they meet this complete criteria. The Trainer will thoroughly assess the studies and offer feedback and support as required..
  5. Submit a complete EFT session: The trainer will have to observe and evaluate a full EFT session from each student. In place of a live, in-person session, the trainer may instead allow and evaluate a video-( OR audio-recording of a live session). The live session and follow-up discussion will then count as one of the mandatory case studies. NB: Download a Consent Form here for Recording purposes which must be sent with your case study & explained to the person receiving the session.
  6. Receive a minimum of six hours supervision/mentoring Attend six hours of either one to one, or group mentoring-supervision, or combination (optional fees apply). This can be conducted face to face, over the phone or via Zoom webinar.
  7. Complete any additional, discretionary requirements as outlined by the EFTi Master Trainer / Supervising Mentor during the certification process. Mentors may require additional client sessions / practice hours, 1-to-1 mentoring meetings or case studies as needed to complete their assessment.

While these criteria may seem to be a lot of work, completing them will give the student the confidence that they can work well with clients, and that the client who seeks out an Accredited EFT Practitioner can have the confidence that they will be seeing a skilled practitioner.

Important: Undertaking the EFTi Certification process does not guarantee that the candidate will be certified as an EFT Advanced Accredited Practitioner. The candidate must demonstrate their competency to practice EFT skilfully, professionally and ethically before a certificate can be awarded.

Once the Practitioner-Candidate has successfully completed all of the requirements and the Supervising Mentor (usually the trainer) is confident that they have sufficient knowledge of EFT skills and the experience to use them safely with clients, the trainer will issue them the Certificate.

The Supervising Mentor will then inform the EFTi Membership Secretary that all requirements have been met. The Membership Secretary will then invite the Candidate (via email) to upgrade their membership on EFT International.org from EFT Practitioner L2 to EFTi  Advanced Accredited Certified EFT Practitioner (L3). Here is the Process:

  1. The candidate signs up with me for Accreditation.
  2. The candidate must be a member of EFTi.
  3. As a member of EFT International the candidate can access to the certification materials, including practice log and case study manuals.
  4. I recommend that the candidate starts logging and writing case studies as soon as they can. If necessary I will do what I can to help find tapping subjects for them.
  5. The candidate completes and submits the case studies, preferably returning to Marie, one at a time. However, the maximum is a year. This is to make sure there isn’t a mad dash by candidate to complete them and mad dash  to mark them before the one-year time limit expires.
  6. We will schedule mentoring to align with any studies, practice hours.
  7. The candidate may take the online exam at any time during the year.
